18 Scripture
Verse for Today Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I
have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. (James 2:18)
Though we cannot see faith, we certainly can see its results. The Israelite army could not see the
faith of the shepherd boy, but when David stood victoriously beside the body of Goliath with Goliath’s head in his hand,
they knew of his faith.
We may brag of our faith all the day long, but that doesn’t amount to
a hill of beans if our faith does not produce works. When men tore a roof off and let their sick friend
down where Jesus was, the Bible says that Jesus saw their faith. Examine your faith today.
Does it produce works? The world does not just need to hear of our faith, they need to see it!
