An Upward Look
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Scripture Verse for Today

Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.  (Psalm 42:8)

How much does God mean to you?  The Psalmist declared that He was “the God of my life.”  Those who know God best consistently walk with Him.  Good times or bad, they continue to walk with the Lord.

In valley experiences, you can still sense His lovingkindness, still sing His song in the night, and still cast your cares upon Him in prayer.  Don’t just use God as a spare tire, never thinking about Him unless you are in trouble.  Constantly be in communication with the Lord and walk in the light of His word.  You cannot know the fullness of His blessings until He becomes your life.

Walk with Him today.  Make Him the God of your life!     ~~
