Most of the merciful people I know are not powerful, and most of the powerful I know are not merciful.
Our Heavenly Father is both.
He reaches out to us with tender
loving care. We sing of His amazing grace and boundless love. It was the love of God
that permitted His son to come down to this earth, then suffer and die for us. Jesus’ love for us
was proven beyond doubt at Calvary.
It was the Lord who freed me from
the power of Satan, and through His Holy Spirit lives in me to empower me that I might overcome the world and all of Satan’s
temptations.
What a merciful and powerful God we have!
