Verse for Today
But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. (Psalm 94:22)
The Lord is always there! No matter where you are, or how lonely you are, you always have the Lord
as your defense and rock. Don’t spend all your time defending yourself.
Just walk in the Lord’s will and do the Lord’s work, and let Him defend you. The one
who defended David from Goliath’s sword, the three Hebrew children from the fiery furnace, and Daniel from the den of
lions will be there for you! When all crumbles around, you can count on your God
to be the rock of your refuge. Friends may come and go as the shifting sand, but you can always count on
the Lord. What a friend we have in Jesus! ~
