Verse for Today
Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. (Psalm 96:2)
How
do we sing? Oh, I don’t mean do we sing well with sweet and beautiful voices? My
question is do we sing from our hearts, and do we sing unto the Lord? Singing is worship. Through
singing, whether we are alone or in a congregation of God’s people, we glorify the Lord. We must also be observant of the
words of the songs we sing. One cannot worship the Lord in truth unless the words with which we worship
are true. Sing those songs, new or old, that are Biblical.
As you go through your day, worship the Lord with singing from your heart. Thus walking daily with
the Lord will guarantee you a better day. ~
