Verse for Today
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; (Psalm 103:3)
More than once I have had a praying sinner to look up at me and express, “Will God really forgive me of every
sin?” Then explaining that they had done some “really bad” sin, they would express doubts
about God’s forgiveness. It is hard for us humans to understand the grace of an almighty God; however,
we have His word on it. He forgives ALL our iniquities! Big, little, hidden or well
known when the Lord saves us, He forgives us of every sin in our past, no matter what they are!
David, the writer of Psalm 103, had sinned greatly and all Israel knew about it, yet he rejoiced in the fact that the
Lord had completely forgiven him, and that is what really mattered most! ~~
