This, the shortest of the Psalms, encourages us to praise the Lord and gives us two reasons for our praise: merciful
kindness and truth.
Our God is kind. While
many religions of this earth breathe out hate and cruelty, Christianity teaches mercy and love. The gentleness
and kindness of Christianity are exhibited in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. He went about doing good,
teaching love and forgiveness, not murder and hate.
You can count on
an all-knowing, eternal God to dispense truth. The evolutionists, atheists, agnostics and all such like
will someday stand before God as liars. We can wholly rely upon His word for truth.
Praise God today for His merciful kindness and truth! ~
