Verse for Today
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with
him. (Psalm 126:6)
One of the greatest blessings God has ever given us is the ability to win souls.
Some time ago I noticed a man continually looking at me. He finally came to me and asked me my name.
Upon confirming my identity he proceeded to tell me that I had led him to the Lord about thirty years ago when he was
only eight. My heart was so blessed! God has promised
that if we go forth with compassion, bearing the precious word of God, that we will be successful in winning souls.
There is nothing quite as satisfying as winning a lost soul to the Lord.
I rejoiced as I told that man, “You’ve made my day!” ~
