Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. (Psalm 134:2)
Did you ever notice how quiet it is in God’s sanctuary? I am afraid that we sometimes go to
church with more anticipation on what we will be doing after church than what we are doing in church. Let’s
go to church to worship, and do not be afraid to lift your hands and bless the Lord!
The Bible instructs us to lift up our hands to God in worship. Lifting our hands to the Lord personally
involves us in worship, making us a participant, not a spectator. God not only wants us to attend church,
He wants us worship from our hearts. When your heart tells you to lift
your hands and worship the Lord, listen! ~
