Verse for Today
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! (Psalm 139:17)
What an astounding statement! Have you ever taken
your children to a play ground, and they have such a good time running and playing that they momentarily forget you are there?
Then, suddenly they realize that they have lost track of you and in utter panic cry out for you. You
instantly respond, “I’m over here,” because you never lost sight of them. So is it with
our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Just when you thought no one cared,
the Creator, the God of the universe, is thinking about you. Oh what great love He must have for you.
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
