14 Scripture
Verse for Today And
they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his
house. (2 Chronicles 24:16)
How will you be evaluated when you leave this life? Jehoiada, the priest, left an impeccable testimony
behind. His faithfulness to the Lord and toward his family was so outstanding that they buried him in the
city of David among the kings. What a tribute! God can take anyone
and make them a blessing. Jehoiada and his wife Jehoshabeath had saved the life of a young king and then
Jehoiada had raised him up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Young Joash made a great king, and
served faithfully during the life of Jehoiada the priest. On June 14, 1961
I was saved at a Christian youth camp. Since then, God has sent many godly people who have influenced my
life for good. I am so thankful for each one.
Pray today that God will help you to be an influence for good to someone. ~~~
