An Upward Look

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Scripture Verse for Today

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.  (Job 13:15)

Have you ever seen a greater faith?  I think this statement by Job is one of the greatest man has ever made.  The Lord had permitted the devil to take away everything that Job possessed and even his health.  Satan had stated that Job only served God because God was protecting and blessing him.  He expected Job to curse God upon losing all; but rather, Job blessed the Lord and maintained his faith in God.  Even Job’s wife suggested that he curse God and die, but Job stayed true.

If you do not understand the troubles that have befallen you, remember that for everything there a purpose.  Trust the Heavenly Father to bring you through the valley.     ~
