Have you ever felt that everything is going wrong in your life, and that no one understands you and your situation?
Job did.
After Job had lost everything,
he thought he could count on his wife and his close friends. His wife’s advice was “curse God
and die,” and his friends spent many hours explaining how his sins had brought on all his troubles. They
were all very wrong.
Job knew how he had walked before
the Lord, and he had assurance of two things: (1) The Lord God knew what was going on in his life, and (2) when he stood before
his creator in judgment, he would be vindicated.
Our job is to be faithful to God today and to live in such a way that we can be assured when we are tried by the fiery
judgment that we shall come forth as gold. ~~~
