July 10 Scripture Verse for
Today
The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. (Proverbs 10:27)
Observing
the lifestyles of the righteous and of the wicked, one can conclude that on the average the righteous live longer that the
wicked. Not only will living for the Lord give you a home in heaven, but will also provide you with more
days on this earth.
Just open the newspaper and you will read of deaths from murders, drugs, drunk driving, etc.. Walk
through the cemetery and observe the tombstones, and you will see that many are there prematurely because of sin. The Christian life blessed with
peace, joy, love and hope is much better than the alternative. The Lord has promised abundant life for
His children on this earth. Thank God for abundant life! ~
