12 Scripture
Verse for Today
The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
(Proverbs 12:27)
The Bible speaks on about every subject of which you might imagine. In Proverbs 12:27 it speaks
of hunting and conservation. As stewards of God’s wonderful creation, we are to conserve its resources.
It was put here for our use, but not our abuse. Some so called
“environmentalists” go overboard “protecting” creatures at a great cost to God’s highest creation
on earth, humans. God has given us the intelligence to hold a correct balance. However,
it is never alright to waste the resources that He has provided for us. A diligent man will remember how
precious the substance is and conserve that which he is afforded. I am blessed to
think of how our Heavenly Father looked down through time and made provision for all our needs. Truly,
the earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof. ~~
