Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. (Lamentations 5:21)
America needs to pray the prayer of Lamentations 5:21. This great nation was founded on Godly principles.
The Bible was used as a standard of law and conduct. God has greatly prospered our people because
of this. During the last fifty years we have seen the moral fiber
of our beloved nation crumble. When I was a boy, school would begin each day with Bible reading, prayer
and the pledge of allegiance to our flag. Now prayer and Bible reading have been outlawed, and our flag
is desecrated. Our only hope of the restoration
of the good things that God has blessed us with in the past is to turn back to God in repentance and obedience.
