Verse for Today
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)
How can we find God? One cannot just go to church and automatically encounter the Lord.
Sometimes we just play religion and really never communicate with God; however, the Lord tells us that we can reach
Him when we put all our heart into it. One prevailing sin of our day
is half-heartiness. People fervently attend their favorite team’s ball game. They
scream and yell, and you can hear them for a mile. Yet, when that same crowd attends church the next Sunday,
they fall asleep. You couldn’t get a decent amen out of them if you stuck them with a cattle prod.
Their lackadaisical attitude stinks in the nostrils of God. Pour out your heart to God in prayer. Seek
Him for blessing and leadership in everything you do. When you can sing All To Jesus I Surrender,
