The remnant of the people that were left behind after the fall of Judah asked Jeremiah to seek God’s will for
them. At that moment they wanted to do God’s will more that any thing. We find
in the next chapter that, after getting their answer from the Lord, they refused to listen and did just the opposite of what
they were told to do.
How many times
do we ask, “Lord, what do you want me to do today?” Then after getting the answer, we do not
like it, so we disobey and miss God’s bountiful blessings.
Our destination is satisfactory only when we follow the path that the Lord has directed. Ask His
direction today! ~
