Verse for Today
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. (Song of Solomon 2:4)
Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so! Through the years, I have been touched by
the love of many, especially my family and my church family; however, beyond the love of all of those dear people is the unmerited,
immeasurable love of the Lord. Far exceeding the love of humans, God’s great love will reach out
to anyone at any time in any place.
I’ve seen the love of God reach down to the drunkard, the dope addict, and the immoral, and lift them up with
forgiveness and saving grace.
The outstanding attribute of God is not His omnipresence, nor His omnipotence, nor His omniscience; but rather, His
love. Calvary proved that! ~
