The gospel is the good news from God to humanity.
The gospel tells
of Jesus’ love (grace) for us. This grace is revealed in His sacrificial death on the cross, His
burial and resurrection, His ascension, and His promise to return for us some day.
It is by grace He forgives us of our sins and saves us from the horrible penalty of sin, an everlasting burning hell.
It is the grace of our Lord that welcomes us into His family so that now we are called a “child of God!”
