Verse for Today
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)
Jesus did not say
that in order to see God and live with Him someday one would have to be a church member, nor have been baptized, nor rich,
not educated, nor good looking, nor popular; but rather, he must have a pure heart.
The way to have a pure heart is to repent of our sins and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Only
through His grace every sin is forgiven, the stony and sinful heart is purified, and we can stand in God’s presence
holy and ready for Heaven. Having obtained the salvation of the Lord, let’s
witness to our loved ones who are lost, so they too may live with God throughout eternity. ~
