Scripture Verse for Today

     He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  (Matthew 28:6)

      We serve a risen Savior!  Of the many religions in the world, only one can boast of a risen savior.  Jesus arose from the dead proclaiming, “Because I live, you shall live also.”  Our very hope of future resurrection and eternal life is based upon the fact that Jesus Christ arose from the dead and ascended up into Heaven.  Because of his resurrection we have hope that we will see our loved ones again in eternity.

      Christ’s resurrection proved that He was indeed the Messiah, God’s son.  His teachings would have been in vain had He not risen from the dead.  May God bless you today as you meditate on the blessing of serving a risen Savior!    ~
