Jesus spent three years training twelve disciples and at His ascension He delivered to the eleven who remained the
great commission, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” You
might say, “How can a handful of uneducated men with backgrounds from fishermen to tax collector accomplish such a great
task?”
The secret is in two things: (1) the willingness of
those men to GO, and (2) the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. Because of those two ingredients the
apostle Paul declared, “I can do all thing through Christ which strengtheneth me!”
Let’s put the GO back into the gospel. Go and seek the lost, and bring them to Jesus today.
