What do others see when our cup runs over? These disciples in Antioch had just experienced revival
where both Jews and Gentiles were converted. In the midst of revival persecution arose against Paul and
Barnabas. Yet, it spite of the persecution the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost.
What do others see when we
are persecuted? Discouragement? Complaining? Do we throw up our hands
and quit when the going gets rough? If we are filled with the Holy Spirit and joy it will be evident even
in the worst of times.
Since others judge what is in our cup by what runs over,
let’s make sure today that they observe Christ in us. ~
