This verse is one of my favorites. It shows Paul’s compassion for the lost and his dedication
in trying to win them to Jesus Christ. Whatever it took, the Apostle Paul was willing to give that some
might come to know the Lord as he knew Him.
How far are we willing to go to
win the lost to the Savior? Have we ever considered the worth of a soul? I believe Paul
pondered the worth of a soul and considered anything that he could do to win one to the Lord a reasonable price.
The difference in being tormented in an eternal fire and enjoying the blessings of the Lord in Heaven forever cannot
be measured. ~
