Verse for Today But the fruit
of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (Galatians 5:22) Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:23)
When I was a young lad my dad would point out the trees and tell me their names. I would forget
most of them; however, there was some that I would always remember, those that had fruit on them. If I
saw an acorn, I knew that was an oak tree. If the tree was bearing apples, I knew that it was not a pine.
It was hard to tell some trees apart by their bark and limbs, but inspecting the fruit was easy.
It is sometimes hard to tell who someone is by looking on their outward appearance, but when observing their fruit
we know what is really inside. What kind of fruit are you producing? ~
