Verse for Today For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Ephesians 2:8)
Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:9)
The most revered song of the church since the time of Jesus Christ is Amazing Grace. Why?
It is God’s wonderful amazing grace that reaches down from Heaven to draw us to Him.
What is grace, you ask? Grace is unmerited, undeserved love, the kind of love that only the Lord
can give. Grace is what caused our Lord Jesus Christ to leave the perfection of His heavenly home to come
to Calvary’s cruel cross. We are saved by His grace and through our faith. Salvation
is not of works, or else some would boast that they are more saved than others. None of us deserve Heaven,
but by His amazing grace we can all go there! ~
