10 Scripture
Verse for Today Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1
Timothy 2:4)
Years ago in Ohio I quoted 1 Timothy 2:4 in a revival sermon, but didn’t give the reference.
Arriving later at the pastor’s house his phone rang. An upset gentleman was on the line.
While listening to a tape of my preaching he heard me quote that statement and called to say he did not believe a word
of it! Being quite surprised when I gave him the chapter and verse he did not know what to say.
All of his theory of limited atonement had just been blown to
bits by the Biblical truth that God wants everybody to be saved! What a blessing to know that God wants
to save every loved one you have! ~
