Faith makes us courageous. When our hope is in the Lord our hearts are
strengthened; our courage is increased. David was very courageous when he stood before Goliath, but that
courage was founded squarely upon his faith that his God would win the battle for him.
Those without faith lack sufficient courage when the going gets tough.
Belshazzar was a mighty king, yet his strength and courage forsook him when he saw the handwriting on the wall.
When we rely only upon our own strength, and not upon God’s, we will fail.
Fully trust in the Lord today, place your hope in Him, and no matter what the problem, His strength and courage will
see you through! ~
