Verse for Today
But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out. (Numbers
32:23)
Sometimes the inferior creature seems to think that he can hide his sins from the almighty creator. It
never works. God, who knows all things and sees all things, cries out to the children of Israel (and to
us), “If you sin, you will be found out.”
Eve tried to cover her sins by making an excuse. David tried to hide his sin by committing an even
greater sin. Saul tried denial. Their sins eventually found them out.
Rather than trying to do the impossible task, try acknowledging your sins and repenting of them. Our
God is filled with forgiveness and grace. He will do something that even our friends may refuse to do,
forgive and forget! ~
