One task is finished; the other is ongoing.
The
finished task? The Lord gave the word. Sixty-six books by over forty writers over fifteen
hundred years have completed God’s book, the Bible. Now it is up to us to publish it!
In the olden days
after the armies of Israel would go out and fight battles the news of victory would be revealed by a runner. Then
the women of Israel would sing and dance in the streets to tell everyone the glorious news. A great number
would publish the great news so all would know.
The ongoing task
today is for God’s children to go everywhere telling the good news of the gospel. Tell someone today!
