Verse for Today
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. (Psalm 121:1)
The Lord is the ultimate source of real help. Job proclaimed,
“Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” This applies to sinner or
saint. The difference is that God’s children know exactly where to go for real help. The Psalmist noted
that our help comes from the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He can do anything! Three
times in this psalm he referred to the Lord as our keeper, and three other times as preserver. We need
His keeping power. We need His compassionate love. If God is on our side, then who can
be against us?
Stand tall and bold today. You have all you need in God! ~
